Refurbishment work a the Pavilion is now complete and a new space for community hire and use has been completed. Labour has a long track record of bringing new community facilities into use and this adds to a long recent of recent developments and creates a facility the community can be proud of.
The work was carried out in consultation with the residents of the area and its user groups and the increased space provided was a direct result of that community engagement and consultation process.
This is part of a number of works taking place to improve community facilities in the Manor Park area with working starting last month on improvements to the Manor Park Community Centre which should be completed by the end of the year.
Natasa Pantelic, Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care said:
I am delighted we are able to offer residents yet another upgrade facility for them to use. Slough Labour is committed to providing good quality community facilities for residents to come together for gatherings and local groups to hire – and watch this space for more announcements on further improvements coming soon!
